News Release: 7/21/2025 Aflac Summer College Internship Program

Each summer, Lynn and Chris Feazel host college students for a summer internship program, and it's one of the highlights of the year for our office! The Aflac internship provides a unique platform for driven students to gain real-world experience in the insurance industry while building their own professional networks and business instincts. Here at Aflac, interns are immersed in real-world responsibilities such as cold calling, in-person prospecting, and attending client meetings. With comprehensive training and ongoing support, interns will learn how to deliver professional consultations that help employers understand how to enhance their benefits offerings.

We make sure that interns are equipped to explain how our supplemental benefit packages can improve employee retention, reduce turnover, and offer meaningful support in the event that illness or injury ever comes in the way. This hands-on experience not only builds essential consultative and communication skills, but also empowers interns to create real impact. More than just a learning opportunity, our internship fosters meaningful collaboration between businesses and the next generation of professionals.
 

Interns also gain exposure to the full experience by shadowing experienced team members through presentations and enrollment sessions. This not only sharpens their understanding of the process but ensures that every business interaction is handled with professionalism and insight.
